Arsham Rezai, the citizen who has been jailed at Tehran notorious Evin prison, was sentenced to eight years and six months prison term. The sentence was delivered to Arasham after he was summoned to the court on March 16, 2019. He was arrested by IRGC security forces in Tehran on January 7, 2019. Arsham was taken into Evin prison after being kept in the Quarantine Ward for two weeks.
The sentenced was allegedly handed over to Arsham, according to Human Rights Activist News Agency (HRANA).
He was sentenced to prison on the false charges of “propaganda against the regime”, “assembly and collusion to disturb national security”, and “insulting the Supreme Leader”.
Arsham is being kept at Ward 4 of the Evin prison.
